In this game, you take on the role of a bold leader tasked with the ambitious project of restoring life on Earth. Your journey involves managing the parallel development of multiple independent cities, each with its own economy. You'll engage in trade with an orbital station, balancing the challenges of dynamic climate changes that put your city's resilience to the test.
Players must make strategic decisions about energy sources—choosing between ecological or more harmful power supplies—to shape the future of their cities. With over 48 university research options available, you can improve your city's structure and unlock new possibilities. The game features an extensive array of over 120 building structures and 15 different goods for trade and consumption, adding depth and complexity to your management experience.
Cliff Empire also offers versatile viewing options, letting you switch between 3D and orthographic cameras, or explore your city on foot with a free camera mode. As you progress, you'll encounter 15 intriguing quests that open the door to the orbital station and vast late-game locations. Additional game modes—including a sandbox mode and tower defense elements—ensure that every playthrough is packed with strategic challenges.
