The heart of Terroir lies in mastering the winemaking process. You’ll need to learn and perfect four distinct stages: crushing, fermentation, pressing, and aging. Each grape type demands a tailored approach to produce the best wine possible, so careful planning and experimentation are key.

Your vineyard isn’t immune to challenges either. The game features a dynamic weather system that mirrors the unpredictable nature of real-world climates, and random events that can either boost your fortunes or throw unexpected hurdles your way. Additionally, a mission system, where you decide between taking a gamble on chance or opting for a mission with potential rewards, keeps every playthrough engaging.

Although each complete game spans a 60-year cycle, you have the freedom to continue managing your estate beyond that timeframe without affecting your final score. Beyond cultivating grapes and crafting wine, you can also customize your property with various ambient items and even participate in wine awards to enhance your estate’s prestige.
