The Battle of Polytopia is a turn-based civilization strategy game set on a flat, square world where small tribes compete to grow their nations and dominate the map. You pick one of 16 distinct tribes, each with its own flavor and bonuses, and guide them through exploration, city building, research, and combat to achieve victory.

Gameplay mixes classic 4X elements (explore, expand, exploit, exterminate) with quick, tactical turns. Matches can be played solo against AI or online with up to 16 players (with matchmaking and leaderboards). Maps are procedurally generated, so every game layout is different, and you can choose from multiple sizes and terrain presets. There are several win conditions and modes to suit different playstyles.

The nuts are believed by the Kickoo to be a show of great wealth and pride, and the wealthiest Chieftains will decorate their palaces with as many Konka Nuts as possible. We have created a special Weekly Challenge to celebrate Kickoo named Command & Konka! An island with a whole bunch of Konka mounds. The first one who takes over that city will see it level up enough for border growth. It's a massive map so most players will not being able to even explore the full map and trying to find some additional ground while defending in all directions.
