Apex Point v0.035 - early access

Apex Point is an open world racing simulator set in Japan and developed in Unity 3D. In this early access title, players can live out their automotive dreams by customizing and tuning their vehicles for a variety of racing disciplines such as drag racing, drifting, street, and even legal track events—all from a first-person perspective. The game offers a rich and immersive environment complete with a dynamic day/night cycle, changing weather, seasonal effects, and even celestial events that enhance the realism of your experience.

Players can personalize nearly every aspect of their cars. With an extensive list of performance and cosmetic parts available, you can adjust tire pressure, ride height, camber, toe, steering angle, and much more to create setups optimized for drift, drag, or grip racing. The simulation includes detailed mechanics like weight and aerodynamic modeling, dynamic exhaust sounds that change with modifications, unique turbo flutter sounds for specific configurations, and even realistic engine swaps and conversions. Furthermore, there’s a working economy where every modification and repair reflects real-world costs, allowing you to generate income through races, car repairs, and smart sales.

The game also features an intelligent traffic system and various camera settings, ensuring immersive and customizable gameplay. Whether you’re using a gamepad, a wheel with a hand shifter, or simply playing on keyboard and mouse, the controls are highly adaptable, providing force feedback and a precise driving experience. Additional touches like animated engine and body parts, realistic gauge functionality, and a photo mode let you capture the essence of every moment on the road.

Beyond the current features, the developers have exciting plans to expand the game with more races, a wider variety of cars from different nations, and an extended map that includes legendary expressways and technical mountain passes. Keep in mind that as an early access title, Apex Point is not yet complete. Some content may be missing and bugs may appear—such as save file corruption after updates or unexpected physics issues when hitting a sidewalk—but the developers are committed to fixing these issues as soon as possible.
