In the game, you must ensure your people survive by gathering vital resources such as fruits, berries, wood, stone, and flint, which can be used to prepare food, construct buildings, and craft necessary tools. Hunting plays a key role too—encounter and track down prehistoric animals like mammoths, woolly rhinos, ancient bison, megaloceros, and cave lions. Their meat, hides, and bones become essential for feeding your community and for producing clothing and equipment.

Seasonal changes add an extra layer of challenge. While spring brings an abundance of fish and summer rewards you with plentiful fruits and berries, winter demands careful planning with enough stored food and proper clothing to keep your people warm and secure against the elements.

As your settlement grows, you’ll need to expand by building more homes, essential facilities, and even fortifications to protect against hostile encounters. Alongside growth comes the need for innovation—researching new technologies makes it possible to support larger populations, although it also introduces challenges like increased food consumption and the risk of raids.

Additionally, the game lets you explore ancient engineering by constructing large-scale stone structures. You’ll mine massive rocks, transport them with rudimentary sledges, and build monumental constructions that echo the remarkable feats of our early ancestors.
