One of its standout features is the built-in scripting language and accompanying editor, which comes with comprehensive documentation and examples. This powerful tool lets you automate tasks, design quests, create mini-games, organize boss fights, and even shape the behavior and dialogue of NPCs. If you prefer, you also have the option to use Lua scripting as an alternative.

The game is loaded with creative tools that help you make large-scale changes to your world. You can fill or clear vast areas in a single move, quickly swap out blocks or textures, and use built-in features to design lines, paths, walls, spheres, or even entire forests. Additionally, the painters algorithm lets you flood irregular spaces with blocks, and you can copy and paste sections of your world or save them as components for reuse in other projects.

Total Miner comes with a rich soundtrack that features 41 full-length music tracks, totaling over 3.5 hours of immersive music. It also offers 25 different texture packs, available in both standard (16x16) and high-definition (64x64) resolutions, as well as a selection of 74 avatars and NPC models that you can customize extensively, including their behavior and dialogues.

These include a day/night and seasonal cycle, animated wind effects on vegetation, realistic liquid physics for water and lava, and even a camera tool for capturing snapshots of your creations. In addition, players can engage with mechanisms such as particle emitters for dynamic visual effects, WIFI-powered logic circuits, farming systems for cultivating crops, and optional player skill development across 16 different areas that enhance your abilities as you gain experience.
