Survival isn't just about avoiding zombies; nature itself poses significant challenges. Additionally, you'll need to seek warmth and shelter from harsh weather conditions like blizzards.

You can choose to arrest bandits with handcuffs, engage in combat with a wide array of weapons, raid enemy encampments, or participate in PvP and PvE modes. Even when playing solo or offline, there's plenty to do. You can meet and trade with NPCs, complete quests, fend off waves of undead, secure airdropped supplies, and explore radioactive dead zones with gas masks.

Building and fortifying your stronghold is crucial for survival. You can construct barricades, furniture, traps, and machinery, or board up windows to survive the night. Craft new structures from collected supplies or turn your vehicle into a moving fortress.

Travel across the expansive world by land, air, and sea. Choose from a variety of vehicles, including tanks, helicopters, seaplanes, and hovercraft, and maintain them with tires, batteries, and fuel.

Explore massive worlds with five officially developed maps and one curated community map, including locations like Prince Edward Island, the Yukon, Washington, Russia, Hawaii, and Germany.

Unturned is designed for modding, allowing players to download and create content ranging from guns to vehicles and large levels. You can build custom maps, write plugins, and even collaborate with other modders to propose updates for official adoption.

The game also features unique elements like destructible objects that create new pathways and the ability to use two-way radios for squad communication, enhancing immersion.
