Paper Dungeons is a captivating fantasy board game that combines the charm of classic tabletop gaming with the endless possibilities of online content. The game features four distinct single-player modes, each offering a different gameplay experience:

1. Boardgame Mode: Start each dungeon as a fresh board from a long adventure set. Your character resets to level 1 with each new dungeon, but you retain your inventory. The fog of war hides unexplored parts of the dungeons, and monsters and items are randomly placed. Combat is determined by your statistics and dice rolls, with the ability to influence outcomes using a 2d6 system. As you level up, you can favor one attribute and unlock various dice sets. Be cautious, as monsters have their own dice and an awareness system that makes them move towards you if you're in their line of sight. You can dig through walls to escape, but it will cost you some health.

2. Campaign Mode: Engage in a full-fledged adventure with up to 10 interconnected dungeons, complete with an introduction, dialogues, and a conclusion. Your character maintains their level and inventory between dungeons.

3. Rogue Mode: Your character continues to level up across dungeons until they meet their demise. Your legacy will be your name in the Hall of Fame and more powerful dice sets for future Rogue runs.

4. Puzzle Mode: Tackle hardcore campaign levels where luck plays no part. The dungeon layout, including mobs and items, is fully visible, and monsters remain static. Carefully strategize each move to secure victory.

In addition to these modes, Paper Dungeons offers a map editor for creating and sharing custom dungeons, a campaign editor for storytelling, and an online levels feature to enjoy user-generated content. The game also includes a comprehensive codex, an extreme difficulty mode called The Void, and supports high-resolution graphics with native 1080p.
