GRAVEN is a first-person action-adventure game that combines modern development tools with a late 90s aesthetic. You play as a faithful priest of the Orthogonal order, exiled for a crime committed in defense of another. You find yourself alive again, adrift in a swamp, where a mysterious stranger provides you with a cryptic warning, a staff, and a book. Your mission is to alleviate suffering, uncover deceptions, and combat eldritch perversions threatening reality.

In GRAVEN, you will solve puzzles and explore lore to understand the motives of heretical sects causing plagues and seasons that destabilize the land. You can manipulate the environment by spreading fires, charging machinery, revealing hidden paths, and freezing rivers to traverse them. Discover and upgrade weapons at blacksmiths and alchemists to enhance your abilities.

The game encourages exploration, allowing you to return to previous areas with new abilities to uncover hidden powers. You will face over twenty distinct enemies and three bosses across multiple biomes. GRAVEN also supports cooperative play with up to seven friends, offering a chaotic and engaging multiplayer experience. As you progress, you must navigate carefully to avoid losing yourself in the depths of the world, where reality may become a mere plaything.
