Circuit Superstars is a top-down racing game crafted by racing enthusiasts for fellow fans of motorsport. It celebrates various motorsport disciplines, offering a driving experience that feels satisfying yet challenging, encouraging players to perfect their laps over time. The game is easy to pick up but mastering the handling of each car and finding the optimal racing line on every track is a long-term challenge. Players must also consider fuel usage, tire wear, and damage, making pit stop strategies crucial for success.

The game features a tactile handling model that lets players feel the tires gripping the asphalt. It includes a variety of vehicles from different motorsport disciplines such as Rallycross, open-wheel single-seaters, SuperTrucks, GT racing, and Eurotrucks. Circuit Superstars offers online multiplayer races for up to 12 players and allows players to create custom tournaments to compete with friends.

Additional features include weekly time trials, a Grand Prix mode with single-player tournaments across 12 categories, and five AI difficulty levels to challenge players. The Free Play mode lets players create custom race events or tournaments against AI or in local multiplayer. The Garage allows for car and driver customization with unlockable liveries, helmets, and victory celebrations.

Players can choose from 12 vehicles, each with unique handling models, and race on 32 tracks across 17 vibrant locations. Global ghosts provide insight into how players worldwide tackle each track, including celebrity drivers from the Top Gear x Circuit Superstars Star in a Reasonably Fast Car Invitational 2021. Race replays enable players to review their races, analyze their racing lines, and study opponents' strategies.
