Gameplay is simple to pick up and wildly entertaining to watch. One player is the dad, tasked with babyproofing a two-story house and garden: lock cabinets, stash or secure hazardous objects, and generally try to keep the child alive. The other player(s) control the baby, whose goal is to turn ordinary household items into existential threats - from power outlets and nail guns to blenders and swimming pools. Matches are fast, often frantic, and built around emergent moments when the physics engine does something gloriously unexpected.

The game shines because of its variety and multiplayer options. You can play locally or online with up to seven friends, choose customizable game modes, swap skins and perks for the two characters, and enjoy randomized item locations so no two rounds feel the same. The environment is full of interactive and potentially lethal props: sinks that can flood, a woodchipper, a dog named Fudge, cars, ovens, and more than sixty-seven everyday items to experiment with. Dynamic music and sound design help sell the tension and comedy, and controller support makes it accessible for couch sessions.
