Umbral is a compact, first-person narrative experience that plunges you into a dark, otherworldly realm shaped by Kardecist Spiritism and Umbanda. You play as Mateus, a young man overwhelmed by life’s challenges who attempts to end his own existence-only to awaken in a cruel limbo known as "Umbral." Far from the peaceful rest he sought, Mateus must navigate a series of unsettling environments filled with grotesque imagery and disturbing encounters, all the while asking why death itself has failed to grant him escape.
