After the Collapse is a post-apocalyptic base-building game where you guide a group of survivors through both ruined cities and countryside. You can dig deep into underground caverns and sewers ("Z levels"), handle dozens of characters in real time, and even choose to play as tech-savvy humans, brute mutants or savage cannibals. Your main goal is to protect your people from raiders, mutated beasts, environmental hazards and rival factions by constructing a secure settlement, researching new technologies and scavenging vital resources.
