A Perfect Day is a narrative-driven adventure set on the last day of the 20th century. Unlike typical time-loop games, you repeat the same day without retaining memories from previous loops, so exploration and choice are built around planning, observation and discovering secrets anew. The game weaves four main storylines into a narrative network with many intersecting side stories - coming-of-age struggles, awkward teenage love, family conflicts and small-town mysteries - giving you chances to confront problems and reshape other people’s lives. Inspired by Jorge Luis Borges, the storytelling emphasizes mystery, chance and revelation as you learn about a varied cast: the know-it-all with glasses, the trend-following rich kid, the Study Rep you crush on, a cryptic neighbor granny and an eccentric homeless man who talks about aliens.
